The History of Pelham Puppets

The Magic of Pelham Puppets started with one man the late [Bob Pelham]. Starting in humble surroundings in Marlborough Wiltshire in 1946/47 with a brand name of Wonky Toys he saw his business grow and change label to the now much loved and recognised name of Pelham Puppets.

The business of making puppets was at its heyday during the 1960’s and early 70’s and the famous yellow box the puppets were packaged in became synonymous with the name of Pelham Puppets and which quite rightly boasted ‘loved by children all over the world’  Pelham Puppets formerly ceased trading in 1995.
